The exhibition, hold at the Museum of Culture MUDEC in Milan and sponsored by Milan City Council Department of Culture and by 24 ORE Cultura – Gruppo 24 ORE, will remain open until January the 7th, 2018. The event will explore the Golden Age of Ancient Egypt through the figure of Pharaoh Amenhotep II (1247 – 1401 BC) and his life. The exhibition will display statues, slabs, weapons, and items of the daily life at court.

Visitors will experience the sensation of archaeological discovery by entering the tomb of Pharaoh Amenhotep II, reconstructed on a scale 1:1, containing, in addition to mummies and other treasures, the original archaeologist’s documents that discovered it, Mr Victor Loret.
